@a game for four: Juu istun Traconissa! Mahtava juttu, nähdään siellä :D
@cyberwolf: @Iaikaa: It's a super weird look for him so I can't blame ya, haha
@muura: Shit let's just call him Kurt from now on
@TheLazyBassist: Wow, long comment! Thank you! Your analysis of the page is really spot on. I tend to spend some time with each page deciding what kind of camera angles and layouts would best communicate the mood I want. I think I've learned some of this from other comics and movies, I often like to pick them apart as I consume them.
@therougeofvalhalla: What if he's got a search warrant or somesuch with him? In any case though, blackcoats tend to get away with a lot of things
@Dot: I dunno maybe the dude looks like some kinda dead musician?

@cyberwolf: Ahahaha, now that you mention it, yeah, these pages obviously have the black borders for flashback. Here I was just wondering why there are two characters with an eyepatches

Ah, wonderful! The last two panels are by far my favourite part of this page. Jumping from an extreme close-up of the man's eye to a medium close-up reaction shot from a low angle is very dramatic. The absence of a background draws the viewer's attention solely to the reaction and emotion of the person in frame. I also think that the close proximity of the eyes of these two men (and the overlapping of their faces) in that final composition enhances friction. But this is only a hunch.

Can I ask you do you deliberately think about what kind of visual storytelling methods would best fit for the purpose of the story or is this highly sophisticated visual storytelling sort of encoded in your mind from sources of inspiration? What I mean to ask is, do you draw what 'feels right' or do you reason and rationalize the best visual way to achieve your goal?

Sorry for the long message. Great works inspire a lot of thought.
